GET REAL

Dear readers,

not too long ago the annual 'Impulstanzwochen' festival took place in the city. This two-weeks long festival is a great mix of dance shows and workshops. You can watch professional dancers setting the stage on fire, but also take the first steps on the dance-floor yourself.

We took the opportunity to use the Art4Art Studio as a location for our photoshoot with Cat Jimenez, a professional hip hop dancer. Except for the annual Impulstanzwochen Art4Art is closed to the public, as all stage elements you see in theater productions in Vienna (e.g. for the Opera) are build here. Such a cool and inspiring space!

For the shoot I did Cat's make up and hair, as well as styling and also, I'm proud to say :p used my marginal photoshop skills to layout the pictures. Photos and retouching by the amazing Jürgen Knoth!

STREET FASHION

Hey guys,

it's about time to show you some of my new work, isn't it? It's been ages since my last post and we've had several photoshoots happening in between, snuck in a few short days (waaayyy to short!) of vacation in Croatia and got drunk at a couple weddings :p

So here's the result from a super fun group shot, outdoors for a change (much prefer this to studio work!) at the Campus of the Business University in Vienna. Fashion was by Adidas, Björn Borg, Tiger shoes and a streetstyle shop called Blue Tomato. Make up and hair was all pretty natural, with gold eyeshadow or a red lip here and there.

I included a few backstage shots as well. Chica, Jürgen's dog seems to like having her picture taken, hence her slight over-presentation in the making of shots :p

I played around with the layout a bit (which I love) and really like the outcome with the transparencies and different layers!

Here are the making of pictures! Thanks again to the whole team, our professional models Yemisi from Tempo Models and David from Mother Agency, our dancers/ breakdancers Kinscö, Sandra, Miro and Farmer, as well as Sam who plays his guitar as he would a woman :p Also thanks to the PR lady from the WU Campus who gave us a from that protected us from the ever present security guys, the stylists Driton Kosovrasti and Daniela, and last but by far not least, the photo assistants Isabella and Kaarina. Oh and Jürgen Knoth, he took the pictures ;)

Cheers,
